Shaukat Yousafzai Says Aleema Khan is No Longer with PTI, Criticizes Government’s Approach

Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shaukat Yousafzai has stated that Aleema Khan, sister of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, is no longer aligned with the party. In a statement, Yousafzai said, “We are heading towards Islamabad for the protest, while she has even closed down Lahore.”

Yousafzai emphasized that political workers do not believe in numbers but in passion and enthusiasm, asserting that success is achieved through determination and not by merely gathering large crowds. He further explained that when negotiations take place, flexibility naturally emerges. “You can’t force people to negotiate by beating them. That’s not how it works,” he said.

The PTI leader also criticized the government’s actions, calling for the immediate dismissal of “fake cases” against party leaders and the swift completion of trials. He accused the government of not adopting a political approach, which he believes is damaging the political culture of the country. “The government’s approach will destroy the political culture,” Yousafzai warned.

Yousafzai also placed the blame for the country’s ongoing political instability firmly on the shoulders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), stating, “Whatever damage this country faces, the responsibility lies with the PML-N and PPP.”

His remarks reflect the ongoing tension between PTI and the ruling parties, as well as the party’s strategy of pressuring the government through public protests and calls for political reform.
