Quetta:Shafqat Anwar Shahwani has been appointed as the Director General of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) and has taken charge of his responsibilities. Chief Engineer GDA, Haji Syed Mohammad, briefed the new Director General on ongoing development projects under GDA, including the Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan and various sectors of GDA.
On this occasion, the Director General expressed his vision, emphasizing that under the Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan, rapid progress will be made in the city’s construction, development, prosperity, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiatives based on the city’s global value. He assured that steps would be taken to ensure local community participation in developmental activities.
