Senator Irfan Siddiqui Affirms Facilitation for Future Meetings with PTI Founder Imran Khan
Islamabad:In a recent statement, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator **Irfan Siddiqui** confirmed that the **negotiating committee** would continue to facilitate meetings with the **founder of PTI, Imran Khan**, in the future.
Siddiqui clarified that the committee’s focus would be on the **written demands** of PTI, rather than **Imran Khan’s statements**, and emphasized that the committee members had already decided in their first meeting to **distance themselves from public statements** and concentrate on formal discussions.
He further stated that **PTI** understands the **legal process** for seeking release from jail, and that during the initial meeting, the committee had already communicated its intention to provide **facilitation for meeting** Imran Khan.
Siddiqui also added that **Nawaz Sharif’s approval** is an integral part of any negotiations with PTI, and stressed that **Pakistan’s policies** are not shaped by the tweets of individuals like **Richard Grenell**, referring to the former U.S. ambassador’s public comments.
This marks the continuation of the political dialogue process between PML-N and PTI, with a focus on addressing legal and political concerns through official channels.
