Senator Faisal Vawda Criticizes PTI’s Absence from National Security Committee Meeting

Islamabad:Senator Faisal Vawda has described Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) decision to not attend the crucial National Security Committee (NSC) meeting as a significant mistake. He called the move an “odd decision,” emphasizing that the issue of terrorism is a national concern.
In an interview, Vawda stated that the meeting should have been focused solely on matters of Pakistan’s national security and not on political point-scoring. He expressed that it was inappropriate for PTI to have skipped the meeting, especially given the gravity of the situation.
“PTI should have attended the meeting,” Vawda remarked. “They made a big mistake. PTI is currently in a state of confusion, as their internal differences remain unresolved.”
The comments highlight the growing political divide within the country as it faces significant security challenges.
