Section 144 Imposed in Gwadar as Long March Announced for Release of Activists

Section 144 has been enforced in Gwadar district, Balochistan, following the announcement of a long march from Gwadar to Quetta by the Haq Do Tehreek. The march is aimed at demanding the release of political activists, including Mah Rang Baloch, along with female workers associated with the movement.
Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Hamood ur Rehman, confirmed that Section 144 is now in effect across the district. Recently, some individuals had begun to set out from Gwadar towards Quetta for the long march. However, the government of Balochistan has issued strict instructions, stating that no individual or group will be allowed to proceed with the march.
The statement also emphasized that strict legal action would be taken against those found violating the law. Authorities have appealed to the citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and advised them to remain indoors given the current situation.
