Saudi Arabia: On Tuesday, the Saudi Royal Court announced the death of Princess Latifah bint Abdulaziz Al Saud. Her funeral was held at the Al Oud Cemetery in Riyadh.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Princess Latifah’s funeral prayer was conducted today, Wednesday, at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh following the Asr prayer.
The funeral was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is the nephew of the late princess. Princess Latifah was the sister of King Salman and the aunt of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Saudi Royal Court had announced Princess Latifah’s passing the previous day.
In response to the news, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended their condolences to the Saudi leadership, the royal family, and the people of Saudi Arabia. They prayed for the forgiveness of Princess Latifah and patience for her family.
