Saudi Arabia Issues New Travel Advisory for Umrah Visa Holders

Riyadh – The Saudi government has issued a new travel advisory for passengers, with strict instructions for airlines to comply with the updated guidelines.
According to reports, the new directive, issued by the Saudi Aviation Authority, imposes fresh regulations for travelers holding Umrah visas. Under the new rules, passengers with Umrah visas will not be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia after the 15th of Shawwal each year.
Airlines have been instructed not to issue boarding passes to such passengers after this date. The directive further warns that any violation of these rules will result in legal action against both the passengers and the airlines, as per Saudi aviation laws.
The move is part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to regulate the flow of Umrah pilgrims and ensure better management during the Hajj season.
