Sardar Akhtar Mengal: “No Containers Can Block Our Path” as Long March Begins in Balochistan
Quetta:The leader of the Balochistan National Party, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, has declared that no containers can stop their peaceful long march. He further stated that today the Baloch nation would show the world the consequences of harassing Baloch women and children.
In a post on social media before the start of the long march from Wadh to Quetta, Sardar Mengal stated that despite their commitment to a peaceful protest, all roads from Khuzdar to Quetta and all major entry points were blocked by containers in an attempt to silence their voices. However, he made it clear that, “Insha Allah, no container can stop us.”
Sardar Mengal emphasized that the Baloch nation would unite today to show the world what it means when Baloch women and children are harassed, stating, “We will not remain silent.”
It is important to note that internet services have been suspended across Balochistan, with mobile signals also being cut off in cities such as Quetta, Khuzdar, and Nushki.
