Quetta:Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, has emphasized that the Balochistan government will provide full cooperation with the federal and military leadership in operations against terrorists. In an interview with a foreign news agency, he expressed his firm stance on the state’s duty to protect its citizens, stating, “The state is like a mother, but it is also accountable to those innocent civilians who are being killed.”

Sardar Khetran further highlighted the urgent need for a coordinated operation against terrorists who target innocent workers and security forces, saying, “The government of Balochistan has long felt the need for an organized operation against the terrorists who carry out attacks on poor laborers and security personnel. We believe that the need for such action has been felt for some time, and although it is late, it is still the right time to act.”

He said, “A worker who leaves his home in search of daily bread for his children, regardless of which province or city he belongs to, when his lifeless body is brought home at night, the grief of the loss falls like a mountain on his children.”

Sardar Khetran’s statement underscores the government’s commitment to tackling the growing threats of terrorism in the region while acknowledging the heavy toll that these acts of violence take on innocent families. His remarks also reflect a call for both timely action and accountability in ensuring the safety of Balochistan’s citizens.
