Sanjrani and Sherzai Tribes Reconcile After 14-Year Feud in Balochistan

Quetta:In a historic move towards peace and reconciliation, the Sanjrani and Sherzai tribes have put an end to a longstanding conflict that spanned 14 years in Balochistan, Pakistan. The initiative, led by former Senate Chairman and provincial assembly member Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, culminated in a heartfelt reconciliation ceremony at Sanjrani Haous, Aman Ground Jirga.

Leaders from both tribes, including Sardar Noor Bukhsh Sherzai and Sardar Taj Muhammad Sherzai, gathered amidst a significant turnout of tribal leaders, dignitaries, and community members from districts like Chagai, Noshki, Khuzdar, Washuk, and beyond. The atmosphere was marked by a spirit of unity and mutual respect.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, addressing the gathering, expressed immense satisfaction at the resolution of the conflict, emphasizing the role of traditional values and Islamic teachings in achieving peace. He commended both tribes for their commitment to resolving their differences amicably and urged them to serve as an example for others facing similar challenges.

Several dignitaries, including Malik Naeem Khan Bazai, Sardar Changiz Khan Sasoli, and Mir Ajaz Khan Sanjrani, also delivered speeches in support of the peace efforts. They underscored the importance of harmony among tribes and the need for continued dialogue to prevent further conflict.

The occasion was not only a symbol of reconciliation between two tribal factions but also a hopeful sign for ongoing peace-building efforts in Balochistan. Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani vowed to remain actively involved in mediating disputes and fostering understanding among communities, stressing the irreplaceable value of peace and unity in the region.
