Bollywood star Salman Khan recently shared a life-altering incident in which he came face to face with death during a flight experiencing severe turbulence. Speaking on a podcast with his nephew Arhaan Khan, Salman revealed that during a return flight from an awards show in Sri Lanka, he encountered flight turbulence that lasted for 45 minutes.
Salman Khan was accompanied by his younger brother Sohail Khan and Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha on this trip. He mentioned that despite the intense chaos, Sohail remained undisturbed and continued to sleep, while the rest of the passengers on board were terrified.
Salman described how, during the turbulence, he observed not only the passengers but also the pilot and flight attendants visibly shaken. This added to his fear, as it is uncommon for the crew to show signs of distress in such situations. He explained that he had only witnessed such a scenario in films before.
The turbulence eventually subsided after about 40 minutes, and the passengers resumed their conversations, but the turbulence started again briefly, lasting around 10 minutes, before the flight made a safe landing.
