Quetta:Despite the passage of 14 months, 24 employees recruited at the Agricultural Engineering University in Lasbela, Othal have been deprived of their salaries. These employees, including carpenters, bulldozer operators, cleaners, and security guards, claim that while others hired alongside them have received their salaries, they have not been paid for the past 14 months.
The affected employees expressed their distress, stating that they are facing severe financial hardships, with their homes suffering due to the soaring inflation. They lamented that despite repeatedly requesting advances for their children’s expenses, their pleas have been consistently turned down.
In light of their plight, the employees have demanded immediate action from Federal Minister of Commerce, Javed Kamal Khan, and Provincial Assembly member Nawabzada Mir Zarrin Khan Magassi. They emphasized the urgency of resolving their salary issues so that they can provide for their families without further distress.
