Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s security has been significantly enhanced following a knife attack last week during a robbery attempt. Saif, who was injured in the incident, was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. He is now under tight security as he returns home.
In the wake of the attack, Saif has decided to change his security agency and has entrusted his safety to actor Ronit Roy’s security firm. Ronit Roy was seen at Saif’s Bandra residence on Tuesday evening, but he declined to share specific details about the security measures being implemented. He did, however, confirm that Saif is now recovering and back at home.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested the alleged attacker, identified as Bangladeshi national Sharif Islam Shehzad, who had entered India illegally and was residing under a fake name, Bijoy Das. The police presented the suspect in a Mumbai court, where his lawyer argued that no evidence had been found against him, suggesting that he was being framed in the case. The defense lawyer claimed that the allegations were false and that the case had gained media attention simply because a celebrity was involved, asserting that Shehzad was being made a scapegoat in this high-profile incident.
