Russia to Host Key Conference on Future World Order in Yalta

Yalta, Russia:A significant conference on the future world order will be held in Yalta, a city on the Black Sea coast, under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event will bring together Russian government officials, historians, leaders of prominent academic institutions, as well as foreign experts and public figures.
This conference holds special significance in light of the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations (UN) and Russia’s commitment to the principles of the UN Charter and international law in general.
Participants will discuss major global challenges and the changing balance of power, dialogue, and cooperation among key global powers. They will also address the development of a multi-polar world and Russia’s role within it, in the context of evolving geopolitical dynamics.
According to Kirill Logvinov, Director of the Department of International Organizations at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference will be the first event in a series of activities commemorating the UN’s anniversary. The discussions will span from the foundations of the post-World War II global order to the future of a multi-polar world, focusing on both historical and contemporary aspects of global politics.
Logvinov further highlighted that one of the key objectives of the conference is to reaffirm the commitment to the international legal system, specifically the core provisions of the UN Charter.
