Roof Hasan’s Further Physical Remand Request Rejected, Sent to Jail

Islamabad: Judicial Magistrate Shabir Bhatti has sent Rooh Hasan and others to jail on judicial remand after rejecting the request for further physical remand. The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad conducted a hearing against PTI spokesperson Rooh Hasan and others under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act. Upon completion of their physical remand, Rooh Hasan and others were presented in court.
FIA Prosecutor Sheikh Aamir appeared before the court and requested a 5-day extension of physical remand. Upon the request of PTI’s lawyer, the court granted permission for Rooh Hasan to undergo a medical check-up.
Rejecting the FIA’s plea for a 5-day physical remand, the court sent Rooh Hasan and others to jail on judicial remand.
