Robbery Spree in Quetta’s Eastern By-Pass Area: Motorcycles and Batteries Stolen, Local Residents Alarmed
Quetta:A series of robberies in the eastern bypass area of Quetta, involving the theft of motorcycles and batteries, has left the local residents in shock. Two separate incidents have come to light, where thieves stole goods worth millions of rupees, sparking concerns over law and order in the region.
**Motorcycle Showroom Heist at Aimal Khan’s Shop:**
The first robbery took place at the Aimal Khan Motorcycle Showroom near Bikhra Mandi on the Eastern Bypass. According to the showroom owner, thieves managed to steal six Honda 125 motorcycles, valued at approximately 2 million rupees. The owner of the showroom expressed his frustration, stating that despite informing the local police station, no timely action was taken.
**Battery Theft at Shiraz Battery Zone:**
On the same night, another robbery occurred at Shiraz Battery Zone, where a large number of batteries were stolen. Aimal Khan, the owner of the motorcycle showroom, reported the incident to the police, but according to him, the police showed negligence in addressing the issue promptly.
**Police Response and Action:**
In response to the delays and lack of action, Aimal Khan lodged complaints with the police’s complaint cells, including the 15 emergency line and the DIG Quetta. Following his complaints, the police dispatched a fingerprint mobile team to the scene for further investigation. Aimal Khan has urged the Inspector General (IG) of Police in Balochistan and the DIG of Quetta to take immediate action, arrest the culprits, and recover the stolen motorcycles and batteries.
In his statement, Aimal Khan expressed that the police’s delayed response and negligence had only added to his troubles. He called upon the police authorities in Balochistan to take this matter seriously and take immediate steps to ensure the safety and security of the public’s property.

The series of robberies has raised alarms among the residents of the Eastern By-Pass area, who fear that criminal activities are on the rise. Locals are demanding stronger measures to ensure the protection of businesses and residents from such incidents.
