Robbery in Karachi’s Quaidabad: Armed Thieves Steal Bag Containing 55 Lakh Rupees
Islamabad:In a shocking incident of daylight robbery, two armed motorcyclists were caught on camera robbing a citizen in Karachi’s Quaidabad area. The robbery unfolded in broad daylight, with the thieves stealing a bag containing a large sum of money from the victim in just 9 seconds.
The footage, which has since gone viral on social media, shows two men on a motorcycle wearing helmets to conceal their identities. One of the robbers pulled out a weapon and threatened the victim, while the other snatched a bag filled with cash from the man’s hands. After the quick heist, both thieves sped off on their motorcycle, disappearing from the scene.
According to police reports, the victim, identified as Rashid, had just stepped out of his vehicle to deposit 55 lakh rupees at a nearby bank when the robbery took place. The entire incident was carried out so swiftly that the victim had no time to react or call for help.
The police have launched an investigation into the robbery, and efforts are underway to track down the culprits using CCTV footage and other evidence. The incident has raised concerns about public safety, with residents calling for increased security measures to prevent such crimes in the future.
