Road Restoration in Dast Provides Relief to Travelers

Dast,Balochistan:In response to the difficulties faced by travelers, the district administration of Mastung, under the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Mastung Captain (R) Mir Baz Khan Mari, took significant steps to restore access to the Dast-Lakpass road. The effort was spearheaded by 64 Wing Colonel Waqas Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner Mastung Akram Hareefal, and the SHOs of Levis Police Stations in Dast, Akhtar Mohammad Bangalzai, and Daringarh, Abdul Malik Kurd, with the support of Union Council Dast Chairman Mir Muhammad Ishaq Jatk.
The team worked diligently to reopen the old Mastung road, allowing small vehicles to pass and alleviating the traffic congestion that had been troubling travelers on the Lakpass serving road. Mir Muhammad Ishaq Jatk, Chairman of Dast Union Council, expressed his gratitude towards Deputy Commissioner Mastung, Colonel Waqas Ahmed, and the entire administrative team for their commendable efforts in resolving this issue.
He emphasized the severity of the traffic jams on the Lakpass road, which had caused considerable inconvenience to the public. He added that the restoration of the old Mastung road would make travel much easier for residents and visitors alike, significantly improving the local transportation situation.
Mir Jatk also praised the district administration for its continued commitment to alleviating public difficulties and ensuring smoother travel for everyone in the area. He concluded by acknowledging the administration’s essential role in addressing and solving such issues for the community.
