Recovered Relics from Balochistan Returned to Pakistan by France

Islamabad (INP) – The priceless relics of Balochistan, previously seized by French authorities, have been returned to Pakistan. According to reports, the return of these valuable antiquities marks a significant victory for history, civilization, and culture. French officials handed over the artifacts to Pakistan’s embassy, in line with the UNESCO Convention.
The relics are critical to understanding the rich historical heritage of Balochistan, as they contain important symbols tied to the region’s ancient history. French customs authorities had previously intercepted these items, which were being smuggled out of Pakistan. Their role in preventing the illegal trafficking of such treasures has been widely acknowledged.
It is noteworthy that under the 1970 UNESCO Convention, France has now officially returned these precious artifacts to Pakistan, ensuring the protection and preservation of the country’s historical heritage.
