Karachi: the city of lights, has witnessed another record-breaking night as the minimum temperature soared to 32.5 degrees Celsius, marking the hottest July night in recent history. This surpasses the previous record of 32 degrees Celsius recorded on both July 1st and 17th. Last year, during July 2021/2022, the lowest temperature recorded was 31 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorological experts, Karachi is experiencing intensified heat due to the return of sea breezes. While a slight decrease in intensity is expected, the weather is forecasted to remain hot and humid. Temperatures may drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius compared to the past two days, potentially reaching highs of 37 degrees Celsius.
Furthermore, parts of Karachi’s outskirts are also anticipating rainfall today. It is notable that earlier this week, temperatures in the city surpassed 40 degrees Celsius on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
