Ranah Sanaullah Conditions Imran Khan’s Release on Apology

Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has made the release of Imran Khan conditional on his apology for the events of May 9.
Speaking during a segment on Geo News’ program *Jirga*, Rana Sanaullah stated that if the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, sincerely apologizes for the incidents on May 9, his release could become possible.

Earlier, in a separate statement, Rana Sanaullah clarified that if the courts decide to release Imran Khan, the government would have no objections. He emphasized that the government had not placed Imran Khan under house arrest, and he is currently in jail due to his legal cases. He further added that Imran Khan could seek bail through the High Court or Supreme Court.
