Rana Sanaullah Suggests Who Imran Khan Should Talk to for Resolving Issues

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah, in a recent statement, outlined who Imran Khan should approach to resolve his ongoing issues.
Speaking to the media outside Jati Umra, the PML-N Punjab president revealed that his party had decided to launch a public outreach campaign to strengthen and organize the party further. Rana Sanaullah stated that he would lead this campaign, which would initially focus on Punjab. Once the campaign is underway, the situation would be presented to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
Sanaullah also mentioned that Nawaz Sharif would eventually tour other provinces and hold rallies there as well.
Responding to questions about the recent visit by American doctors to Imran Khan, Sanaullah clarified that the doctors did not discuss Khan’s release. He speculated that the doctors may have only come to check on his health. He also commented on the ongoing debates on social media, expressing that everyone had the right to voice their opinions, but he noted that the online behavior of PTI’s supporters, particularly their aggressive rhetoric, was problematic.
On the matter of provincial representation, Rana Sanaullah remarked that Ali Amin Gandapur should have represented his province at the recent program. He stressed that if the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not represent his province, it would be seen as negligence on his part.
Further, he addressed the issue of political disputes, advocating for political parties to sit down and discuss their differences. He emphasized that this was something PML-N had been advocating for since 2018 and continued to call for today. However, he pointed out that it was well known who was unwilling to engage in dialogue.
Discussing the water dispute between Punjab and Sindh, Rana Sanaullah assured the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its leader Bilawal Bhutto that the issue would be resolved amicably. He reiterated that Punjab had no intention of stealing Sindh’s water and stated that the matter would be handled through understanding and negotiations.
Finally, addressing Imran Khan’s willingness to engage with the establishment, Rana Sanaullah stated that while Khan had previously been open to talks with the establishment, he believed that the real solution lay in political parties engaging with each other. According to him, if Khan was ready to talk to political parties, the matter could be resolved.
