Islamabad:Pakistan’s Advisor on Political Affairs to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, has stated that PTI is working against the country’s autonomy. A declaration for imposing restrictions will be issued by the federal cabinet, and the Supreme Court will make the final decision.
In an interview with private TV, Rana Sanaullah said that the declaration for imposing restrictions on PTI will be taken to the Supreme Court within 15 days, where the court will decide on the matter.
He remarked that during its tenure, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took revengeful actions against the opposition. “When they were putting us in jails, we were talking about negotiations, but Imran Khan is not ready to talk to anyone,” he added.
Rana Tanveer questioned whether the decision by 12 judges to grant General Musharraf the authority to amend the constitution was correct.
Responding to a question, he stated that there is nothing wrong if a party talks about national security. “PTI has dug its own grave,” he added.
It should be noted that besides imposing restrictions on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the government has also decided to initiate action under Article 6 against former President Arif Alvi, Imran Khan, and Qasim Suri.
Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, addressing a press conference in Islamabad, said, “There has been a lot of betrayal with the country. We want to take this country forward. If we want to take this country forward, then PTI and Pakistan cannot go together.”
On the other hand, while various political parties are opposing the decision to impose restrictions on PTI, voices of dissent have also started emerging from within the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
