Medina, Saudi Arabia:Bollywood’s controversial actress and dancer, Rakhi Sawant, who is known for her bold and outspoken personality, is currently in Medina, where she plans to head to Makkah to perform Umrah. On the occasion of the new year, she shared a heartfelt message with her fans from the holy site of Masjid Nabawi.
In her video, Rakhi expressed her joy, saying, “While the world is celebrating the new year, I am here in Medina performing this sacred visit. My new year has started with Umrah.” She went on to say that she believes 2025 will be the best year of her life because she has started it with a spiritual journey.
Rakhi further shared her experience, highlighting the peaceful atmosphere in Medina. “Millions of Muslims are here in Medina for visitation, but no one is pushing or shoving. Everyone is praying, and I am also praying for my friends and for all those in need,” she said.
It is noteworthy that this is not Rakhi’s first time performing Umrah. A few years ago, she married an Indian Muslim, Adil Durrani, and embraced Islam. Unfortunately, her marriage did not work out, and after their separation, Rakhi began her spiritual journey. With a prayer for peace, she embarked on the Umrah pilgrimage and began this year with a sense of spiritual fulfillment.
Currently, Rakhi Sawant is in Medina, where she will soon proceed to Makkah to perform Umrah and complete her sacred journey.
