Indian actress and dancer Rakhi Sawant has been making headlines recently with her statements about visiting Pakistan and her plans for marriage. In a recent interview with a digital media channel, Rakhi openly discussed various topics, including her desire to marry a Maulana and her visit to Pakistan.
She mentioned that she had come to Pakistan for a two-day visit to attend a special event. When talking about marriage, Rakhi shared her longing to marry a Maulana, adding that her sister Sana Khan had also married a Maulana. Rakhi humorously addressed Maulana Qawi, saying, “I have never seen Maulana Qawi, but his name itself has ‘Qawi’ (powerful), so Maulana Qawi, please write a poem for me.”
Regarding Pakistani actor Dodi Khan, Rakhi said that he was no less than a Maulana. Although Dodi Khan appears to be a modern man, she described him as a committed Muslim. She further mentioned that she has no objections to Dodi’s first marriage, believing that his first wife would not have any issues either. Rakhi pointed out that Islam allows up to four marriages and suggested that if Dodi Khan wants to marry again, he would have taken permission from his wife, and if not, he should ask her.
Rakhi also revealed her plan for her wedding, saying that the marriage would take place in Pakistan, while the wedding reception (Walima) would be held in India. Talking about her favorite Pakistani actress, Rakhi mentioned Hania Aamir, expressing her admiration for her. She even said that she would perform at Hania’s wedding and encouraged the likes of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan to cast Hania Aamir as the heroine in their films.
Rakhi also expressed her love and support for former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying, “We love you so much. Please come out of jail soon and continue serving the public. You were a true player and a good human being.” She further said that if the public prays for Imran Khan’s release, nothing is impossible.
Rakhi concluded by saying that if she marries a Pakistani and gets a Pakistani passport, she would contest elections in Pakistan and serve the people. She also mentioned that she plans to visit Imran Khan in jail, bringing him food and asking what he would like to eat.
