Rain and Snowfall Expected in Balochistan on Sunday, Western Winds Continue to Affect Region
QUETTA:Balochistan remains under the influence of western winds, with the meteorological department forecasting rain and snowfall in several areas of the province, including Quetta, on Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snow are expected in 15 districts, particularly in mountainous regions.
In the past 24 hours, significant rainfall has been recorded across Balochistan, with Khuzdar receiving 60 mm, Loralai 16 mm, Barkhan 14 mm, Zhob 11 mm, Muslim Bagh 6 mm, Pishin 4 mm, and Chaman 2 mm of rain.
On Sunday, while most districts of Balochistan will experience dry weather, there will be rain and snowfall in specific areas, including Quetta, Sibi, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Pishin, Zhob, Sherani, Kohlu, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Naseerabad, Loralai, and the coastal areas of Makran. The forecast also predicts thunderstorm activity accompanied by strong winds in some areas.
