Rail Service Resumption from Balochistan to Inland Pakistan Awaiting Security Clearance

Divisional Superintendent of Railways Quetta, Imran Hayat, has stated that all arrangements have been completed for the resumption of train services from Balochistan to the rest of Pakistan, and the only pending requirement is security clearance.
In an interview with Geo News, Imran Hayat revealed that Federal Minister for Railways will visit Quetta on March 26, where a meeting will be held under his chairmanship to review the situation and make a decision on the resumption of the train service.
Imran Hayat further clarified that all preparations for the resumption of train services from Balochistan to inland Pakistan have been finalized, and the service will resume as soon as the necessary security clearance is granted.
Regarding the attack on the Jaffer Express, he stated that the railway is assessing the damages caused by the attack.
Meanwhile, railway officials have confirmed that the train services to inland Pakistan have been suspended for 13 days. The Jaffer Express to Peshawar and the Bolan Mail to Karachi have both been suspended since the attack on Jaffer Express in Kachhi on March 11.
