Quetta:Sardarzada Mir Saeed Jan Lango from Mangchar strongly condemned the Quetta police for their violent crackdown on a peaceful protest rally of Baloch women associated with the missing persons’ families. Lango expressed outrage over the use of batons, tear gas shelling, and the severe injuries inflicted upon Baloch women activists during the rally. He labeled the police action as unequivocal evidence of their brutality and savagery against Baloch women, calling it an intolerable act of aggression. Lango emphasized that while Baloch women hold a prominent position in Baloch society, their rights have been consistently violated by law enforcement authorities, undermining not only their human rights but also cultural norms. He demanded stringent legal action against the police officers involved in baton charging, tear gas shelling, and ensuring the safe recovery of missing persons’ relatives, urging for justice to prevail in Balochistan.
