Quetta:Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, a preparatory meeting was convened in Quetta regarding the arrangements for the August 14 celebrations, chaired by the Chief Minister himself. The meeting was attended by Balochistan’s Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, government secretaries, and police officials.
During the session, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized the significance of commemorating August 14 with enthusiasm across all divisions and districts of Balochistan. He expressed pride in the people of Balochistan’s deep love for the country, stating that August 14 holds a special place in their hearts.
Bugti underscored the importance of projecting a message globally through vibrant celebrations, asserting that every individual’s love for Pakistan should be showcased. He also highlighted the unity and solidarity among the people of Balochistan and the state, dismissing unfounded propaganda on social media.
The Chief Minister directed for extensive coverage of the August 14 events in international, national, and local media, emphasizing the need to portray the unity and patriotism of the people of Balochistan towards national security.
