Quetta: Grand Health Alliance Announces Boycott of Polio Eradication Campaign

Quetta: The Grand Health Alliance in Quetta has announced its boycott of the upcoming polio eradication campaign in Balochistan. The decision was made in accordance with the alliance’s protest schedule, as confirmed by the chairman of the alliance, Bahar Shah, during a media briefing.
He stated that, under the boycott, doctors and other medical staff will not participate in the polio vaccination drive. The polio campaign in Balochistan is set to begin on December 16.
However, the Grand Health Alliance is currently observing a symbolic strike in the outpatient departments (OPDs) of government hospitals. The alliance has declared that the strike and boycott will continue until their demands are met.
