Quetta District Administration Takes Strict Measures to Prevent Cheating in Matric Exams

Quetta:A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Lieutenant (retd) Saad Bin Asad, to discuss measures for preventing cheating during the upcoming matriculation exams. The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Quetta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Quetta, Controller of the Balochistan Board, Assistant Commissioners from the four sub-divisions of Quetta, magistrates, tehsildars, naib tehsildars, and all concerned officials.*

During the meeting, a detailed briefing on the preparations for the matric exams was presented. The Deputy Commissioner Quetta emphasized that there would be zero tolerance for cheating, ensuring a fair and transparent examination process is the primary responsibility of the district administration.

He added that strict checks would be conducted before allowing students into the examination centers. Mobile phones would be strictly prohibited inside the examination halls, and any student found with a mobile phone would have their paper canceled. Officers from the district administration would be deployed at all examination centers to maintain vigilance during the exams, ensuring tight security. In the event of any untoward incident at a center, immediate action would be taken.

Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner announced that no unauthorized individuals would be allowed entry into examination centers. Any unauthorized person found within the premises would be arrested and an FIR would be filed against them. The Deputy Commissioner assured that all examination centers in Quetta would be closely monitored by relevant departments, with officers from different departments assigned to duty from morning till evening.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Quetta stated that if any cheating was found at any center, strict departmental action would be taken against the staff involved, with no exceptions. He reaffirmed that the district administration’s focus is entirely on ensuring that the matric exams are conducted in a fair, transparent, and cheating-free manner.
