Quetta:Quetta Development Authority (QDA) has announced its decision to engage in partnerships with the private sector, as per an official statement issued by their spokesperson. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by QDA Director General Asghar Khan. This move aligns with the directives laid out in a December 27, 2022 provincial cabinet meeting where QDA was authorized to collaborate with private parties.
According to Zain Ka Sa, Director Town Planning of Quetta Development Authority, applications are being invited from interested landowners to initiate collaborations with QDA. The initiative aims to undertake public interest projects and developments across Quetta and other districts. Landowners are requested to submit their applications at the Directorate of Town Planning, where decisions will be made in accordance with regulations.
This development underscores QDA’s efforts to facilitate public-private partnerships for developmental projects, emphasizing transparency and regulatory compliance in all dealings with landowners.
