Quetta DC’s Spokesperson Denies Allegations, Says Police Responsible for City’s Law and Order

Quetta:The spokesperson for the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Quetta has responded to recent allegations, stating that the responsibility for maintaining law and order in the city lies with the police, and that the DC’s office plays no direct role in this matter. The statement was issued following accusations from political parties regarding the role of the district administration.

According to the spokesperson, the police are fulfilling their duties in maintaining peace and security in Quetta, and any claims of negligence or failure on the part of the DC are completely unfounded. “The responsibility for law and order in the city rests with the police, and the DC has no involvement in this matter,” the spokesperson clarified.

The spokesperson also addressed concerns over the recent abduction of a businessman’s son, emphasizing that the district administration, along with the police, is fully engaged in efforts to recover the abducted individual. The statement refuted the allegations made by political parties, asserting that the local administration is playing an active role in resolving the situation.

“The district administration is working closely with the police to secure the release of the kidnapped individual, and any claims to the contrary are baseless,” the spokesperson concluded.
