Islamabad:According to details, two senior officers of Punjab Police engaged in a heated altercation during their visit to China. A 12-member delegation of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) was in China to participate in a joint training program for the security of the Pak-China Economic Corridor.
The 10-day training program took place from July 1st to July 12th. The delegation was led by SSP Fazl Hameed of Special Branch Rawalpindi. SSP Syed Krar Hussain, SSP Muhammad Bin Ashraf, SSP Owais Shafique, SSP Anam Faryal, Bashari Nisar, ASP Kinza Azhar, Zainab Khalid, Sandas Ishaaq, Bengul Khan, and Taib Wazir were part of the delegation.
A dispute between two senior Punjab Police officers erupted at Kashgar Airport, during which they exchanged heated words. Female police officers accompanying the delegation intervened to defuse the situation.
On the other hand, Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, took note of the incident and has summoned all officers to his office today to address the matter.
