Lahore: The Punjab Interior Ministry has enforced Section 144 across the province, imposing restrictions on rallies, processions, sit-ins, and protests. Section 144 will remain in effect for three days starting Friday, July 26, until Sunday, July 28.
According to the Interior Ministry, Section 144 has been invoked to ensure public safety, protect lives, and safeguard property. The decision to impose restrictions was made in light of security threats posed by terrorism.
