Punjab Government Launches Second Phase of “Dhi Rani Program” to Facilitate 1500 More Weddings

CM Maryam Nawaz Continues Initiative to Support Underprivileged Daughters in Punjab**

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, “We will not only build homes, but we will also settle them,” has gained widespread popularity. Under her flagship initiative, the *Punjab Dhi Rani Program*, the first phase of 1500 collective weddings has been successfully completed. Following this, on the Chief Minister’s direction, the second phase of the *Punjab Dhi Rani Program* has been launched, with applications now being accepted for an additional 1500 weddings.

Applications for the *Punjab Dhi Rani Program* can be submitted online through the portal *cmp.punjab.gov.pk* or can be submitted physically at the District Social Welfare Offices. A dedicated helpline, 1312, has also been established to provide information and assistance regarding the program.

During the collective weddings, food will be provided to the newlyweds and their close relatives, courtesy of the Punjab government. Additionally, each newly married couple will receive a cash gift of Rs. 100,000 through an ATM. Couples will also be presented with gifts, including furniture, clothing, and other essential household items.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed, “I have a deep affection for every daughter of Punjab, and it brings me immense joy to see them settle into their new homes. It is the government’s responsibility to support the underprivileged and disadvantaged communities, and we will fulfill it with sincerity. Providing protection and care to our daughters is a cherished tradition of Punjab.”
