Islamabad:The Punjab government has granted approval for the “Roshan Gharana” program, aimed at providing solar panels to households across the province. Provincial Minister for Information Azmi Bukhari announced this during a press conference in Lahore.
Under the program, consumers will be able to purchase solar panels at a 10% down payment, with the remaining 90% of the cost covered by the Punjab government. Bukhari highlighted that this initiative is part of various projects the Punjab government is undertaking for the welfare of the public.
He also mentioned the federal government’s approval of relief for 200 units, alongside initiatives such as reducing prices of essential commodities like flour to benefit the general populace, echoing the efforts outlined by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the betterment of Punjab’s residents.
