Punjab Education Department Allows Students to Wear Sweaters and Jackets of Any Color

Lahore: In a move to protect students from the harsh winter cold, the Punjab Education Department has relaxed its school uniform policy for the winter season. According to a notification issued by the department, students in all public and private schools across the province are now allowed to wear sweaters, jackets, coats, socks, and shoes of any color.
The notification, which is effective immediately, will remain in place until February 28, 2025. The decision to ease the uniform policy aims to ensure that students stay warm during the ongoing cold wave affecting Punjab, as well as other parts of the country.
This measure is seen as a response to the extreme winter conditions currently being experienced in the region.
