Public Outcry in Kohlu Over Closure of Central Library, Urges Authorities to Reopen for Students

KOHLU: Public circles in Kohlu have expressed deep concern over the continued closure of the city’s central public library, which has been used as a government office for the past three years. The library, which has long served as a valuable resource for students and researchers, remains inaccessible, leaving students unable to pursue their educational activities.

The ongoing closure of the library has sparked strong reactions from both educational and public sectors, with many calling for immediate action. Students argue that the absence of access to important books and educational materials is significantly hindering their academic progress.

Citizens have appealed to local authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner of Kohlu, the Commandant of the Miwand Brigade, and other relevant officials, urging them to reclaim the library from government use and reopen it for students without further delay. The library is the only educational facility of its kind in the region, and its closure has halted the academic development of local students.

With growing frustration, the public is calling on the authorities to take swift action and restore the library to its original purpose, ensuring it becomes accessible to students and researchers once again.
