PTI’s Sheikh Waqas Akram Labels Bilawal Bhutto as “Angry Political Child” and Claims Political End of Zardari and Sharif Families

Islamabad:Sheikh Waqas Akram**, the Secretary of Information for **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)**, has called **PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari** an “angry political child” and claimed that the political demise of the **Zardari** and **Sharif** families is imminent. His remarks were made in response to recent statements by **Defence Minister Khawaja Asif** and **Bilawal Bhutto Zardari**.

In a press statement, Sheikh Waqas Akram stated that both Khawaja Asif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have privately accepted that **Imran Khan** is the only political reality in Pakistan. He emphasized that Imran Khan had sacrificed his own comfort and ease for the development of the country.

Criticizing those who target Imran Khan for media coverage and public attention, Akram referred to them as “courtier politicians” and “political jugglers” working for **Nawaz Sharif** and **Asif Zardari**. He said, “Imran Khan is an international leader, while his critics are merely pawns working for their masters, whose role is to indulge in baseless criticism.” He also claimed that political families like the **Sharifs** and **Zardaris** are heading toward their political end.

Akram accused the power-hungry politicians of forming an alliance not for the national interest, but to push Imran Khan out of the political scene. However, he claimed that this nefarious plan had backfired, and the opposition had failed to sideline Imran Khan.

In a direct challenge to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sheikh Waqas Akram described him as an “angry political child” and advised him to focus on debating politicians at his own level instead of targeting an international leader like Imran Khan. He pointed out that **Asif Ali Zardari**, historically, had used his politically immature son to pressure the **Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)**, aiming to gain advantages in negotiations by attacking the Sharif family.

Akram also remarked that **Imran Khan**, unlike Zardari and Sharif, had never relied on foreign intervention for political bargaining. “Imran Khan did not leave the country in a state of ruin like Zardari and Sharif, who negotiated only to avoid prison or secure their escape,” he added.

Further attacking **Khawaja Asif**, Sheikh Waqas Akram labeled him a “ridiculous politician,” mocking his comments about **Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi**, which he claimed had continually embarrassed Pakistan on the international stage, despite holding significant positions as **Defence Minister** and **Foreign Minister**.

He also reminded Khawaja Asif and his colleagues that for years they have been claiming that Imran Khan is a “project” of the military, a narrative they have failed to substantiate.

This war of words highlights the continued political friction between the PTI and opposition parties, as the debate over leadership and political influence remains a central theme in Pakistan’s political landscape.
