PTI’s Parliamentary Leader in Punjab Assembly Resigns Amidst Legal Challenges
Lahore:Hafiz Farhat Abbas, the parliamentary leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Punjab Assembly, has resigned from his position.
In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Hafiz Farhat Abbas announced that his bail had been revoked on political grounds, which he believes prevents him from fulfilling his responsibilities effectively as parliamentary leader.
He confirmed that he has submitted his resignation to the party and requested permission from PTI leader Imran Khan to step down from the role.
Hafiz Farhat Abbas expressed his commitment to stand by his leader and continue supporting PTI as a member of the provincial assembly and party worker.
