Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted the affiliation forms of its 38 newly elected members to the Election Commission. According to sources, the affiliation forms were submitted by a PTI representative to the Election Commission.
Three independent members have not yet submitted their sworn statements. Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan, Mobeen Aarif, and Riaz Fatyana are currently abroad. PTI stated that the affiliation forms of Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan and Mobeen Aarif have been received and will be submitted today.
PTI has also submitted additional documents for members of the National Assembly. It is noteworthy that in an important session of the Election Commission chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, deliberations will be held regarding PTI’s allocation of specific seats following the Supreme Court’s decision.
