PTI Leader Sanam Javed Re-Arrested in Gujranwala Shortly After Release

Gujranwala: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanam Javed has been arrested again in Gujranwala shortly after her release. It is noteworthy that the Lahore High Court had ordered her discharge from the case dated May 9 just three days ago. Subsequently, the PTI leader was released from Gujranwala Central Jail earlier this week.
Following her release, Islamabad police re-arrested Sanam Javed outside Gujranwala Central Jail. After her arrest in Gujranwala, the police took Sanam Javed to Islamabad, the federal capital.
At the time of her release from Gujranwala Central Jail, there was a heavy police presence, and Sialkot Road traffic was diverted.
