Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court has granted bail to PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry in the case related to the Raiwind protest. The decision was announced by Judge Khalid Arshad after rejecting the police’s request to extend his remand. Chaudhry is facing charges at the Surraya Road police station.
The court has also extended interim bail for other suspects, including Fouad Chaudhry, in the rioting case until August 7th, giving investigators a final chance to complete their inquiry. ATC Judge stated that if the investigation is not concluded by the next hearing, he will proceed with the legal process accordingly.
