PTI Leader Azam Swati Denies False Reports Regarding His Involvement with Army Chief

PTI leader Azam Swati has dismissed false reports that were allegedly linked to former Prime Minister Imran Khan about his actions. In a statement, Swati clarified that in December 2022, Imran Khan had informed him that he wanted to initiate a dialogue with the Army Chief. After consulting with the party founder, Swati made efforts to reach out to the Army Chief through his teacher and also tried to contact the Army Chief through President Arif Alvi.
Swati revealed that the founder of PTI had told him to coordinate with Arif Alvi and other party members to communicate with the establishment, stressing that there was no need to disclose who he was contacting. He stated that if the Army Chief wished to talk, he was ready from day one.
Responding to a blogger’s question about his whereabouts on November 26, Swati stated that he was in Attock Jail at the time, standing alongside Ali Amin, who is the PTI’s chief minister candidate.
