PTI KP Declares Protest Against State Oppression and Terrorism, Calls for Black Armbands

Peshawar:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced that its workers will wear black armbands from Monday, expressing their resistance against what they term as state oppression and terrorism.
According to media reports, Junaid Akbar, a spokesperson for PTI KP, stated that while Eid has passed, party workers should prepare for the next phase of their protest. “As soon as the founder of PTI gives the command, we will be on the streets,” he added.
He also expressed frustration with the judiciary, claiming that PTI KP does not expect justice from the courts. Despite a judicial order, he said, they are being prevented from meeting with PTI’s founder, further highlighting the party’s grievances regarding the current political and legal situation.
