Islamabad: Judicial Magistrate has approved a three-day extension in the physical remand of PTI’s Central Information Secretary Roaf Hassan. District and Session Courts in Islamabad presented Roaf Hassan and other accused individuals before the court for completion of a two-day physical remand.
The FIA prosecutor presented evidence while requesting an additional 8 days of physical remand, alleging that these individuals are active in 100 WhatsApp groups, with Roaf Hassan leading both international and national media cells. It was also claimed that Jabran Elias had previously worked with a foreign president.
Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shabir Bhatti granted a three-day extension in the physical remand of the accused. A case has been registered against 11 individuals under the Anti-Terrorism Act for allegedly conducting organized propaganda campaigns against state institutions.
