PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja Explains Reasons Behind Sher Afzal Marwat’s Expulsion

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Salman Akram Raja has clarified that Sher Afzal Marwat’s expulsion from the party was not due to any personal or ideological differences with him. He stated that several party leaders had raised complaints against Marwat, which led to his removal from PTI.
Salman Akram Raja explained that Marwat had used inappropriate language and made statements that were contrary to the party’s policies. He also mentioned that Marwat had made controversial remarks about the Saudi government and the negotiation process, which further added to the decision to expel him from the party.
Raja emphasized that he had no personal issues with Marwat, nor did he see him as a rival. He clarified that if PTI founder Imran Khan wanted to bring Marwat back into the party, he could do so, and if Imran Khan wished to keep him out, that decision would be respected. Salman Akram Raja stressed that he had no role in this matter and suggested that if Marwat had any criticisms or wanted to engage in a debate, he should address it directly with PTI’s founder.
