PTI Founder Imran Khan Won’t Negotiate or Leave Pakistan: Babar Awan
Islamabad: Senior PTI leader and legal expert Babar Awan has emphasized that Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will not engage in any deals nor will he leave Pakistan. He further stated that PTI has already won the battle through the votes of the people.
Speaking to the media at the Islamabad High Court, Babar Awan announced that the PTI’s planned protest on November 24 is the final protest. He affirmed that according to Pakistan’s constitution, every citizen has the right to take their demands to the streets. He also highlighted that various political parties have held protest rallies on Constitution Avenue in the past, and it is every citizen’s right to organize a protest.
Awan responded to concerns raised by government employees about blocking access to Islamabad for protestors, advising them to focus on their jobs. He pointed out that while crimes such as robberies and other offenses are rampant, the government’s attention is elsewhere.
He reiterated that PTI’s protest is centered around three key demands: opposition to the 26th constitutional amendment, condemnation of the alleged theft of the mandate, and the release of PTI’s founder, Imran Khan.
wan emphasized that PTI workers and organizations will not surrender in the face of adversity. He also stated that law and order in Pakistan has deteriorated under the current government, and PTI will continue its struggle for justice.
It is important to note that PTI has called for the protest on November 24, and Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, has made it clear that party tickets for the next general elections will be awarded based on the performance of the leaders in the upcoming protests.
