Islamabad:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, has accused the opposition of abducting PTI Member of National Assembly (MNA) Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman from the Muzaffargarh constituency.
In a statement on social media platform ‘X’, Imran Khan stated, “Despite Supreme Court orders, unimaginable actions are underway, where someone has been abducted.”
Barrister Imran Khan further explained that Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman was abducted from his residence in Muzaffargarh, despite his earlier affirmation of joining PTI in light of the Supreme Court’s guidance.
“We strongly condemn such actions and demand his immediate release,” said Barrister Imran Khan.
The PTI Chairman also pledged to inform the courts about all abduction attempts and expressed hope for swift action on the matter.
Earlier, PTI’s District General Secretary in Muzaffargarh, Meher Javaid, revealed in a statement that Makhdoom Khan Jatoi had been abducted by unidentified individuals from his residence in Multan.
